Powder Term Builds Leaders.
Leadership activities are incorporated into all facets of Powder Term:
Student-led Social Contracts that help build a unified and productive team atmosphere
Delegating responsibilities to keep each other safe on the mountain, adventures in the wilderness during Project Avalanche
How to care for a ski lodge.
Proprietary educational projects, like Project Avalanche, also give students an opportunity to contextualize these newfound skills in the realms of Social Studies and Science.
The ACES Leadership Framework
ACES Framework teaches teens to be:
● Action Oriented
● Courageous
● Excellent Teammate
● Strong Communicator
Cross-discipline projects (ex: avalanche rescue, etc) give students opportunities to put leadership learnings into practice.
Zero smartphones.
One life-changing adventure.

Limited Space Available
Powder Term serves an exclusive group of 26 students. We pride ourselves on serving each student with an epic adventure that transforms their life and empowers them with a newfound sense of independence and confidence that will impact every aspect of their life moving forward.
Each child is capable of being their own best teacher, and we’re here to give them the environment, resources, and experiences to explore life, themself, and what they’re excited about. Powder Term does not take the approach that we have things to teach to the kids, but rather the approach that it’s our obligation to provide adventures, challenges, people, and environments for the young learners to develop their own learnings, which will be exactly what they’ll be expected to do and need to do when they enter adulthood in the real world.
